UI and Mobile Updates!

2/19/2019

The Modulatr team has been hard at work updating the beta platform. Here's a few key feature additions and fixes we've made over the past couple weeks.

New Updates
  • We've changed the UI color scheme to a light/white, in order to make project content stand out and to simplify the aesthetics of the platform.
  • The new Draft-Mode feature lets you save a draft of a new project or branch, and edit it later. When you're done editing, you can submit your changes. Only changes you've submitted will be visible to other members on the platform.
  • Branch titles can now be edited
  • We've added a draggable bar between the project bubble diagram and project panel, which you can use to resize either window for easier viewing.
  • The mobile site is now functional and responsive for smaller screens. The mobile site is still under development, and we plan to release a mobile app version of the platform soon.
Check out the video below for a walk-through of the new features!
Planned Feature Additions (NEW STUFF!!)
In addition to our continued work on the mobile site, we are adding a few new features based on some great feedback we've received. We are currently developing functionality for members to control who can view or download their project files, and the ability for members to create teams. Here's a few key features we plan to add in the next couple weeks:
  • A new "Team Project", where you will be able to invite members to join your project team. Other members can request to join your team, but they must be approved by the current team in order to join.
  • A Group Chat feature for Team Projects, so team members can communicate with the entire group or individually in real-time.
  • An option for uploading project images to the project Overview section, in addition to the current image link field.
  • Further design and functionality tweaks to the mobile site.
